About this car in Rome
Brown leather in a black X7 changes what the car is for. This is the one booked to move people rather than cargo: a wedding party between a church in the centre and a villa on the Appia, guests from Fiumicino to a hotel in Parioli, a family arriving for a week with grandparents in the second row.
The 750-litre boot is the largest of any vehicle in the fleet, and the 3.0 diesel six with 340 hp makes the size irrelevant once you are on the Raccordo.
The handover is organised to suit your arrival. It is frequently booked with a driver, which for the restricted centre is often the simpler arrangement.
- 750-litre boot: the largest in the fleet
- Seven seats in black over brown leather

It hardly ever snows in Rome and lows stay above freezing: here you choose an SUV for space, luggage and comfort, not for traction.
