About this car in Bergamo
The Stelvio from the Bormio side, about three hours from Bergamo, climbs through tunnels and galleries to 2,757 metres, the highest pass in Italy, before the famous hairpins drop towards Trafoi; it is open from late spring to autumn.
Tunnels, galleries and then the open summit: the F8 Spider makes the most of it, with 720 horsepower from its twin-turbo eight at the rear, a folding metal roof, two seats and a nose compartment for a medium case and a soft bag.
Rear-wheel drive on summer tyres: a fine-weather car.
