The car
About this car in Verona
The Passo Fedaia, at 2,057 metres, crosses beneath the glacier of the Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites, with a long dam and lake at the top and a steep descent towards Malga Ciapela. From Verona it is about three hours through the Val di Fassa.
With the metal roof tucked away, the F8 lets you hear the glacier's silence between gear changes: 720 horsepower from a 3.9-litre eight, rear drive, two seats and space in the nose for a medium case and a small bag.
Rear-wheel drive on summer tyres: a car for dry roads and the fine season.
