The car
About this car in Forte dei Marmi
South of the Arno, Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia line a quieter stretch of coast with the pine forest of the old Tombolo behind them, and the road between them runs beside the sea with fishing huts on stilts, their great square nets lifted over the river mouth.
A blue Roma Spider is the perfect car for that coast road: a front-mounted V8 of 620 hp, refined at low speed, a canvas roof that folds in seconds, and 272 litres of luggage.
Two seats, rear-wheel drive, at home here in every season.
