The car
A model-year 2026 Mercedes-AMG G 63: the updated G, with the 585 hp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, all-wheel drive, automatic gearbox, 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and 220 km/h. Five seats, boot space for five medium suitcases and a small one, winter tyres fitted in the cold season. Compared with earlier Gs it has the refreshed cabin and revised suspension.
It is the G to choose if you want the latest: the same profile as ever, but all new inside. For a week in Amsterdam between work and dinner, for a winter mountain trip, for a transfer where the car has to be the current version.
