About this car in Florence

Weddings in the Tuscan countryside usually mean guests spread between Florence hotels and a venue at the end of a cypress-lined drive, and someone has to move them. This 2026 V-Class Extralong takes eight people with their bags, 1,410 litres of luggage space with every seat in use, and it is the only V-Class in the fleet with 4MATIC all-wheel drive. That matters on the unpaved last stretch to many villas and wineries, especially after rain.

The Val d'Orcia, about 110 km south, is a favourite setting: Pienza, Montalcino and San Quirico among UNESCO-listed hills, with estates often reached on gravel roads. The van's all-wheel drive and 190 hp diesel cope with those tracks and with the long motorway run there and back, while the light interior keeps the cabin airy for guests on a warm afternoon. Between ceremony and dinner, it is easy to shuttle people to a hilltop town for an hour.

In Florence, the centre inside the viali is a camera-controlled ZTL; we pick up and drop off at hotel entrances outside the zone or at garages your hotel has registered. Winter tyres are fitted in the cold season, useful for winter events up in the Apennines. We hand the van over at Firenze Peretola, Pisa Galileo Galilei, Santa Maria Novella or the venue itself, arranged when you book, with insurance included and assistance available around the clock.
