About this car in Cortina d'Ampezzo
From Carnia, the Passo di Monte Croce Carnico, the Plöckenpass, crosses into Austria through hairpins that climb a wall of rock, a road used since Roman times and still one of the most characterful crossings of the eastern Alps. It is about two hours from Cortina.
A small mid-engined roadster suits it, and the Boxster is the purest in the fleet: a 300 hp turbo four behind the seats, rear-wheel drive, a soft top that drops in seconds and two boots with 300 litres between them.
Two seats. From June to October.
