The car
About this car in Cortina d'Ampezzo
From Lake Misurina, a toll road climbs to the Auronzo hut at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the three great towers of the Dolomites, and from there a level path circles them in a few hours. The road opens in summer and is one of the most spectacular in Italy.
The RS3 Performance Edition, one of only 300 made, is a rare and compact car for that narrow climb: 407 hp from the five-cylinder, quattro traction, and winter tyres for the cold months. Five seats and room for three medium cases and a small one.
0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
