The car

About this car in Milan

The Weissach package is what Porsche's motorsport department adds when weight becomes the enemy: carbon components in place of standard parts, inside and out, on a car that was already built around a naturally aspirated 4.0 flat-six with 510 hp.

In red it is the opposite of the Ice Grey GT3 in the same fleet — this is the one that is recognised in a car park before anyone reads the badge, and the one booked for track days at Monza and for the Sunday runs where being seen is part of it.

The car is brought to you on the day and at the hour you name. Track sessions are arranged separately; tell us at booking, not on the morning.

  • 510 hp naturally aspirated, in red

Drives from Milan, the best months and when to book

Suited to this car

  • Lake Como (about 50 km from Milan): From Como along the western shore to Cernobbio, Tremezzo and Menaggio, then the car ferry across to Bellagio or Varenna.
  • St. Moritz over the Maloja pass (about 180 km from Milan): Via Chiavenna and the Maloja hairpins, open all year, to the Engadine lakes; in Switzerland the motorway vignette is only needed if you use the motorway.
  • The Stelvio pass (about 220 km from Milan): Up the Valtellina to Bormio and the hairpins of the Stelvio, at 2,757 metres: the pass is open only from late spring to autumn.

Best months for this car

In Milan the tarmac is rarely warm and dry: the most suitable months are February–November. In December–January cold tarmac reduces the grip of performance tyres: drive with a margin.
