About this car in Zurich
Ischgl, in Austria's Paznaun valley, is one of the liveliest ski resorts in the Alps, with a vast ski area that crosses into duty-free Samnaun in Switzerland and season-opening concerts on the mountain. It is about two and a quarter hours from Zurich.
The RS Q8 makes the crossing quick: a 600 hp twin-turbo V8, quattro for the snowy Paznaun road, five seats and a 605-litre boot.
An Austrian vignette is needed. For winter trips to the resorts, ask us about winter tyres.

Drives from Zurich, the best months and when to book
Suited to this car
- The Rhine Falls and Stein am Rhein (about 45 km from Zurich): North towards Schaffhausen, the Rhine Falls at Neuhausen and then, along the river, the painted medieval town of Stein am Rhein.
- Over the Julier to St. Moritz (about 200 km from Zurich): The motorway to Chur, then the Julier pass, open all year, into the Engadine: in winter you need winter tyres, ideally with four-wheel drive.
Best months for this car
In November–March Zurich gets up to 7 snowy days a month: the all-wheel drive and ground clearance of an SUV make the difference.
