About this car in Turin
Montgenèvre, just across the French border above Claviere, is the French end of the Via Lattea, a snow-sure village at the top of the pass, about an hour and a half from Turin through the Susa valley and Cesana. A lift pass for the whole area covers both countries.
The black X7 with brown leather takes seven comfortably: a diesel six of 340 hp, xDrive all-wheel drive, snow tyres fitted, and 750 litres of boot.
French mountain roads require winter equipment in the cold months.
