About this car in Porto Cervo
This whole coast is grey granite with green macchia on top of it, and a matte grey car parked against a boulder above the bay looks like it was specified for the location. Gloss paint here mostly returns the sun at whoever is trying to look at it.
The substance is a 460 hp straight-six driving the rear wheels in the shortest coupé BMW's M division makes — which is the right shape for roads that turn every hundred metres and were never widened for anything bigger.
390 litres, four seats, so the whole island is easily inside it. The car is ferried over from the mainland for the dates you give us.
- Matte grey against grey granite, as if specified for it
- 460 hp, rear-wheel drive, the shortest M car here
