About this car in Florence
The SS65 leaves Florence through the northern suburbs and within half an hour it is climbing into the Apennines towards the Futa pass, then on to the Raticosa and down to Bologna. This is the road the Mille Miglia used, and it is the reason to take a matte Nero Nemesis Huracán EVO out of a city where the car itself has no business in the centre.
Up there the bends come in long sequences, the surface changes from shaded and damp to dry and grippy within a few kilometres, and all-wheel drive is what lets the 640 hp of the 5.2-litre V10 reach the road without drama. Remember that ordinary roads outside towns are limited to 90 km/h: the joy is the noise of an unturbocharged engine bouncing off the hillsides, not the 325 km/h on the spec sheet. From 15 November to 15 April signed Apennine roads require winter tyres, and the car wears them in the cold season.
Inside the viali the whole centre is a camera-controlled ZTL, so the coupé is best left in your hotel's garage, if it can register the plate, or handed over at Firenze Peretola, Santa Maria Novella station or Pisa Galileo Galilei. The front boot takes 100 litres: two soft bags for a weekend, not more. Delivery is arranged when you book, with 24/7 assistance and insurance included.

- Matte Nero Nemesis paint, two seats, 100-litre front boot

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I drive the Huracán EVO Coupé into central Florence?
Only if your hotel inside the ZTL registers the plate for access to its own garage. Otherwise we hand the car over at Peretola, Santa Maria Novella or outside the zone, and you avoid camera fines.
Is the Futa pass a good drive for this car in winter?
Yes, with care. Between 15 November and 15 April winter tyres are compulsory on signed Apennine roads, and the car has them fitted in the cold season; all-wheel drive helps on cold, damp tarmac.
Can I take delivery of the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Coupé at Firenze Peretola (FLR)?
Yes: at Firenze Peretola (FLR), about 5 km from the centre; at Pisa Galileo Galilei (PSA); or at your hotel or villa in Florence. You set the place and the time when you book.
How much luggage fits in the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Coupé?
The boot holds 100 litres, with 2 seats. Enough for two travelling light, with soft bags; for a longer stay, larger cases are better in a second car.
What are the requirements to rent this model?
To rent this model you need to be at least 25 years, hold a driving licence for at least 2 years, and present an ID and a credit card in the driver's name for the €15,000 security deposit. 150 km per day are included. Cancellation: free up to 5 days before pickup.
