The road up to Crans-Montana gains around a thousand metres in hairpins through vineyards and forest, snow-covered for much of the winter. On those climbs the Urus S, with 650 to 666 hp from its twin-turbo V8, and the 800 hp SE both have more than enough; the difference is how they arrive. The SE can creep through a snowy chalet village on electric power, a real advantage in Verbier or Nendaz late at night. The S is the uncomplicated choice for a week of daily runs up and down the valley.
