The car
About this car in Madonna di Campiglio
South of Tione, the Val di Daone climbs into the Adamello past a chain of reservoirs, ending at Malga Bissina, a turquoise lake behind a great dam at the foot of the glaciers. In summer it is one of the wildest valleys in the area, and very few visitors find it.
The Range Rover is a comfortable way to explore it: a 250 hp diesel six, all-wheel drive for the long valley road, and an 850-litre boot for a family's walking kit and a picnic. Five seats and Land Rover's flagship ride.
For winter dates, check winter tyres at booking.
