The car
About this car in Florence
If this is your first 911, Tuscany is a forgiving place to start. Most of the driving around Florence happens on country roads limited to 90 km/h, through vineyards and small towns, and the 2025 Carrera Cabriolet is at its best exactly there: light steering, a calm PDK gearbox, and a 400 hp twin-turbo flat-six that never feels like too much.
It is also one of the more practical open cars we offer. Four seats and a front boot for two medium suitcases mean a couple can tour for a week without shipping luggage separately. A sensible plan is the Chiantigiana on the first day, Greve, Panzano and Castellina with the hood down, and Siena and San Gimignano on the second; both old towns are limited traffic zones, so you park outside the walls and walk in. The car is rear-wheel drive, so it is happiest from spring to autumn, and it wears winter tyres in the cold season.
Florence's centre within the viali is a camera-controlled ZTL. If you are staying inside it, ask the hotel to register the plate for its garage before you arrive; otherwise we deliver the car to Firenze Peretola, Pisa Galileo Galilei or Santa Maria Novella, or to a villa in the hills. Delivery is arranged when you book.
