Outside the hotels of the Jardin Alpin the row of gloss black SUVs is long, and the matte Opalite white and matte Nero Notte are the two that stand out against the snow. Both are hand-wash only, which is worth knowing after salted roads. The MY2026 is the newest of the group, with the latest cabin and space for five medium bags and a small one, a good choice for evenings at Pralognan or a day over to La Rosière, where the slopes link with Italy.
From June to October the valley changes completely. The Verde Smeraldo fits the summer roads to the trailheads below the Lacs Merlet and down into the Maurienne, with a 454-litre boot for walking kit. All seven versions share 585 hp and five seats.
