Winter decides most bookings. Nendaz, the quieter door into the 4 Vallées, is about two hours away, and Evolène at the head of the Val d'Hérens about two and a quarter; for either, the black G 63 with grey interior carries 640 litres of skis and luggage, and the MY25 takes five medium cases and two small ones. In January the balloon festival at Château-d'Oex, about an hour and three quarters away, is a family outing that fills a boot. For a long day to the Aletsch glacier, three hours each way, the MY2026 is the most comfortable, with the current cabin.
