The light here makes colour a practical choice. Sand, granite and water all reflect, and by midday a gloss car is mostly glare; the matte Opalite white and matte Nero Notte stay a shape, and fine granite dust shows less on a surface with no shine. Both are washed by hand. The Verde Smeraldo is the one painted in the colour the coast is named after, and against the white sand of Liscia Ruja it is the photograph.
