About this car in Florence
Most Ferraris stop where the tarmac ends. The Purosangue keeps going, and in southern Tuscany that matters: some of the finest estates around Montalcino and Pienza are reached on white gravel roads. With all-wheel drive, a raised ride and four individual seats, this is the only Ferrari that will take four people to a Brunello cellar door and back, with a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 making 725 hp along the way.
The Val d'Orcia is about 110 km from Florence, so a day trip is comfortable: A1 south, then the hills of San Quirico and Pienza, listed by UNESCO. The 473-litre boot takes luggage for a stay, or a few cases bought at the estates. In the cold months the Purosangue really sets itself apart from every other Ferrari: on winter tyres and with four-wheel drive, it is a Ferrari you can take over the Apennines towards Bologna on the SS65, where winter equipment is mandatory from 15 November to 15 April. Speed limits keep the 310 km/h top speed theoretical; the V12's sound does not need it.
Florence's historic centre is a ZTL with cameras. Your hotel can register the plate for its garage, or we deliver the car to a villa in the hills, Firenze Peretola, Pisa Galileo Galilei or Santa Maria Novella. We plan the delivery together when you book, and insurance plus 24/7 assistance come with the car.
