Driving a Ferrari begins at the edge of the lagoon: historic Venice has no roads, so we deliver to Marco Polo or Treviso Canova airport, to Mestre station, or to Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto. From there the Veneto opens up, and the car waiting is the precise Ferrari you chose, never a substitute.

Which Ferrari to choose in Venice
The Ferrari cars that best suit the roads and weather in Venice, each with the reason why.
Discover Venice
Open-top choices dominate this range. The Roma Spider and the four-seat Portofino are elegant companions along the Brenta canal or across the vineyards between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The 296 GTS and F8 Spider, with 830 and 720 horsepower, reward the climbing bends above Asolo towards Monte Grappa; the 296 GTB is the coupé for those who prefer a fixed roof.
For the mountains or a family, the Purosangue brings four doors and all-wheel drive to the Dolomites, and the GTC4Lusso T seats four for a Lake Garda weekend. Many guests book a Ferrari for the Film Festival in early September or for a wedding at a Palladian villa, so reserve early for those dates. Insurance and 24/7 assistance are included.

Good to know
Driving a luxury car in Venice: what to know
- There are no roads in historic Venice: cars stop at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, where the multi-storey car parks are, or stay on the mainland in Mestre. Handover is arranged at one of these points.
- Most historic centres are ZTL limited-traffic zones watched by cameras: driving in without a permit means a fine that arrives weeks later. Give us the address and we will confirm where the car can reach.
- Speed limits: 130 km/h on motorways (110 in rain), 110 on dual carriageways, 90 on other roads outside towns, 50 in town.
- Motorways are tolled at barriers (cards and cash; Telepass lanes are for devices only). Outside built-up areas dipped headlights are compulsory by day too.
- From 15 November to 15 April, signed roads require winter tyres or chains on board — this covers most Alpine and Apennine roads.
Information checked in September 2026. Local rules change: always follow the road signs.
