Porsche's range covers every season in the Veneto, and each car is handed over at the point where Venice meets the road: Marco Polo or Treviso Canova airport, Mestre station, or the garages of Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto. The specific 911 or Cayenne you book is the one you drive.

Which Porsche to choose in Venice
The Porsche cars that best suit the roads and weather in Venice, each with the reason why.
Discover Venice
The 911 Carrera Cabriolet in its many versions, from the 992.2 Carrera S to the GTS and Turbo S Cabriolet, plus the 911 Targa 4S and the lighter 718 Boxster, are open-air cars for the vineyards of Conegliano, the Brenta villas and the eastern shore of Garda. The 911 GT3, including the Weissach-package car, is the purist's pick for the climbing roads towards Monte Grappa above Bassano.
When snow is forecast, the all-wheel-drive 911 Carrera 4 GTS and 911 Turbo S or, for space, the Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne S Coupé make the run up to Cortina d'Ampezzo on winter tyres. Insurance and 24/7 assistance are included, and on the Regata Storica or Redentore weekends a mainland handover avoids the busiest car parks.

Good to know
Driving a luxury car in Venice: what to know
- There are no roads in historic Venice: cars stop at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, where the multi-storey car parks are, or stay on the mainland in Mestre. Handover is arranged at one of these points.
- Most historic centres are ZTL limited-traffic zones watched by cameras: driving in without a permit means a fine that arrives weeks later. Give us the address and we will confirm where the car can reach.
- Speed limits: 130 km/h on motorways (110 in rain), 110 on dual carriageways, 90 on other roads outside towns, 50 in town.
- Motorways are tolled at barriers (cards and cash; Telepass lanes are for devices only). Outside built-up areas dipped headlights are compulsory by day too.
- From 15 November to 15 April, signed roads require winter tyres or chains on board — this covers most Alpine and Apennine roads.
Information checked in September 2026. Local rules change: always follow the road signs.
